Seven GT-AE students receive PURA Grants

Seven students enrolled in the School of Aerospace Engineering have been tapped to receive the Presidents Undergraduate Research Award (PURA) this fall, enabling them to continue special projects they have already launched with faculty advisors.

Scholarship of GT-AE Students, Faculty & Alums Makes Impact at AHS

Papers authored by Georgia Tech School of Aerospace Engineering students, faculty, and alumni were awarded top honors by the American Helicopter Society at its 71st Forum, held in Virginia Beach this May.

STEP Summer Camp Returns to GT-AE

Brandon Ringfield, a Lithia Springs High School student, is one of several students who will return to GT-AE this summer for the Science Technology and Engineering Pipeline (STEP) camp, sponsored by GT-AE and the Georgia Space Grant Consortium.

GT-AE's Wenting Sun and Tim Lieuwen Receive $2 Million in DOE Grants

Two GT-AE faculty, Wenting Sun and Timothy Lieuwen, have been selected by the U.S. DOE to receive more than $2 million in combined research and development grants to facilitate the development & demonstration of next-generation gas turbine technology.
