Tracy Bevington

Biography

As Director, Fleet PMO, Tracy is responsible for the program management of new aircraft development and retrofit modifications associated with American's fleet of over 1,000 aircraft. Her commercial aircraft experience kicked off as a lead engineer at Boeing followed by 21 years at Delta Air Lines. Tracy held a number of leadership roles at Delta, but the majority of her career was spent in Fleet Strategy and Acquisitions. Her team evaluated a litany of commercial aircraft, balancing operating economics and performance with all other stakeholder interests. Prior to American, Tracy was the SVP of Commercial Products and Services at Boom Supersonic, an ambitious start up with the mission of making high-speed travel mainstream.

Tracy earned her Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech in 1994 and has been a proud supporter of the Yellow Jackets ever since. In her free time, Tracy enjoys traveling, golfing, skiing, and spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters.
